SAVOR The Best Of Wisconsin Event @ Wisconsin State Fair The Wisconsin Brewer’s Guild is excited to announce SAVOR The Best of Wisconsin,a beer and food pairing extraordinaire to be held during this year’s Wisconsin State Fair on August 1st. SAVOR is about showcasing Wisconsin’s finest craft breweries; featuring the best beers from the best breweries around the state. Saz’s Catering will provide a scrumptious menu of items; each more delectably paired with a beer than the next!
There will be a coach leaving Capital Brewery at 3:00PM on August 1st for the SAVOR event and returning to Capital about 11:00PM. There will be beverages & munchies (as well as facilities) on the bus. Total ticket price for the round trip coach ride, entrance in to the State Fair, and the SAVOR event is $56.00. Pinetop Perkins Blues Legend Pinetop Perkins just turned 95 years old and is still making music. He started out as a guitar player, but injured his arm in a fight and turned to the piano...something the music world is grateful for. After a hiatus of almost 40 years, he joined Muddy Waters Band in 1969, and has been going strong ever since.
