Apr. 11, 2008: Move Over McGyver Here Comes Keith Richards
So have you heard what Keith Richards has used in the past to help him shoot up heroin? A toy nurses kit from FAO Schwarz toy store! I knew this guy was pretty inventive with the guitar, but I had no idea it carried on to his drug use.
According to an interview with Richards, he says he would keep a needle in his hair and then by the toy nurses kit once he arrived in the United States at FAO Schwarz. Can you imagine what that scene looked like?
Clerk at store: "Oh my goodness. It's Keith Richards! Is he buying a teddy bear or a Tickle Me Elmo?"
Keith Richards: Good day, love. I'd like to buy this toy nurses kit for my...um...uh...my niece. Yeah that's it!"
I wonder if he bought a few other items like a Slinky and an Etch A Sketch just to throw them off the track.
