Apr. 24, 2008: Too Much Bull

 You may know that I'm a huge fan of mascots. I've always loved them. During a football or basketball game, I'm always concerned with what is happening in the game, but I also like to see what Bucky is doing.
So I'm very sad for the Bulls mascot, Benny. He got into some big trouble the other day. Apparently, a fan tried to get a high five from Benny, but the Benny grabbed the guy's arm. I guess Benny had lost his balance. The guy happens to be dentist and when Benny grabbed his arm it got hyperextending and the dentist also ruptured his biceps muscle. The dentist stayed through rest of the game, but later got surgery and says he'll not be able to serve his patents for a few weeks. If he was injured, It does seem strange that he was able to stay for the entire game.
I hope this goes to court and Benny appears. Wouldn't it be great to see a giant mascot sitting on the witness stand being cross examined. I think a jury of his peers would have to include Bucky, the Philly Phanatic and the San Diego Chicken.
