Apr. 24, 2008: Worst Rolling Stone covers ever?

I've subscribed to Rolling Stone Magazine off and on for more than two decades--and while they've had some classic covers over the years--sometimes they seem to miss the boat entirely.
I happened to stumble on somebody else's list of the worst covers, and agree they're pretty bad. Especially the one where the image on the cover is Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, rather than a tribute to the passing of Bob Marley.
Recently I was irritated because Rolling Stone featured had a picture of Jack Johnson on the front, buried up to his neck in sand. He does have nice eyes, but I thought maybe there should have been a mention on the cover about the in-depth interview with Ray Davies inside. (RS #1047)
