Apr. 25, 2008: Favre reveals future plans

Was Brett Favre just teasing us when he appeared on David Letterman's show last night? Or did he accidentally reveal his true plans? I've got some theories.

I know, there's been a lot of speculation about what Brett Favre is really going to do when football starts up again.  He told Letterman he's not excited about mini-camps, but when training camp opens, "something's bound to happen." And then he said the word "butterflies."

Could there be a bigger clue?  Here's what I think. It's one of three possibilities.

1. He will take up the hobby of lepidoptery. That either means butterfly collecting, or the study of the Lambeau Leap. I'm not sure.

2. Brett will join the cast of a touring company of the opera Madame Butterfly.

3. Our beloved #4 will take up a new sport....swimming, and will specialize in the butterfly stroke of course.

Watch the video, and feel free to share your theories.

What do you think?

Brett
He is retired, he ain't coming back, he is a man of his word. When he said something was bound to happen I think he meant it is gonna be rough NOT being on the field and going through all the stuff he had to. I will be watching that first game when they retire his number and cry a lot.
