Feb. 11, 2008: It's a New Orleans Thing.

There's a New Orleans thing going on here. A couple of months ago when I decided to attempt Ironman Wisconsin, I also knew that somewhere along the way I would have to run in my first marathon. Because Laura and I both love the city, I chose the Mardi Gras Marathon in New Orleans to be my first. It's coming up in just a couple of weeks and this weekend as I was running a couple of cool things happened. First, this Sheryl Crow video came on the TV in front of me...
Then, as I was running, a couple of friends from Endurance House came in an told me that a customer was in the store the other day getting new shoes...before heading off to New Orleans for the Mardi Gras Marathon. So, someone else from the area is going to be there too. Hey, if it's you, get in touch with me and let's go out for a celebratory beer after the run.
