It only happens once every four years--it's Leap Day! I've discovered that there's a whole underground society dedicated to Leapers..
In fact, there are many websites dedicated to folks born on February 29th, and the whole phenomenon of adding an extra day every four years. The Caesars had something to do with creating leap year, and so did a pope, who added the interesting rule that century years are leap years only if they are divisible by 400. That means 2000 was a Leap Year, but 1900 was not.
If you were born on today's date, you may think you're one in a million, but you're actually one in 1464, or 684 in a million.
Fun Fact: There's a family in Norway that had three kids born on Leap Day, one in 1960, 1964 and 1968 (that's some kind of record.)
