Did you hear about the Iowa couple who scored 100-thousand bucks from a stranger? Apparently, this couple was sitting at a restaurant and an older gentleman came up and gave them a blank check. He told them to write whatever amount and that the check would be good.
 What would you do? I would probably think the guy was crazy and politely play along for a while and then throw the check away later. Good thing this couple wasn't like me. They wrote in 100,000 and cashed it the next day. It cleared.
The guy had two requirements for the money. 1) They need to use the money to build a house 2) They must name their next kid after him
I guess I would do it for those two conditions although in this day and age I would need to add another three zeros to the end of the check! |
