Feb. 8, 2008: Don't worry, it's just a dream.

I had an Ironman dream last night. I had finished the swim (in itself a pretty nice dream) and was on my bike, heading out of Madison. As I was riding, I saw a group of several friends and stopped to talk. We talked for a while and I got confused as to where I was in the race, so I started running...the wrong way. Not only was I not riding like I should have been, but I was running the wrong way.
So, if you see me on race day, please don't distract me. Not that I think your distraction will keep me from winning, but I don't want to end up running when I should be biking or swimming when I should be running. I confuse easily. |
