After my long weekend run, my feet were still a bit sore on Monday, so once again I did the ice-bath but this time just soaking my feet. You may remember from yesterday, when I soaked in the ice-bath over the weekends, the cats were really curious but the dog, being afraid of the bathroom for some strange reason, showed no interest at all. Well there's now a new twist to the story. On Monday night, since I was just soaking my feet, I got a big bucket and filled it with ice-water and went into the living room and sat there watching TV with my feet in the bucket. Now the dog has to figure out what's going on, but first Ruby (one of the cats) decides this would be good drinking water. How nice of me to bring her a big bucket of ice-water! NOLA (the dog) decided she couldn't be left out of the fun, so she starts drinking from the bucket as well. Now remember, my FEET are in there! Eventually NOLA decides this would all be better if only it was over by her bed, so she starts taking the ice cubes, one by one, from the bucket and moving them to her bed. Laura and I couldn't stop laughing and as we allways do assigned human emotions to our animals, imagining what NOLA was thinking...
July 31, 2008 The last time you were carded So the governor of Washington State, a 61 year old woman, just laughed it off when she forgot her ID and they wouldn't let her into a bar. Reminds me of the days when I used to get carded regularly..
