Last week The New Yorker magazine took heat for a cover, depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as radical militant muslems, giving each other the " terrorist fist pump". The magazine says it was satire, drawing on the public's misconception of who the Obama's really are.
I didn't think it was funny, and I felt it enhanced the public's misconceptions. So I mentioned to Tim that I thought it would be funnier if they had depicted the McCains in the dashiki and AK47. The reason being, showing the McCains that way is just as ridiculous as the Obamas.
So what do I see today? The cover of the August issue of Vanity Fair.
I still think my way would have been funnier.

I heard that Jackie Greene will be in Madison at the Terrace on Thursday, but his website and the unions website says nothing about it. Is it true?
