So you know what’s worse than the flu? Getting the flu while you’re on vacation.
Sigh… At least I felt good for the Springsteen show which was one of the best shows evah!
We went to the Dells for what was to be 3 days of R&R and fun and ended up being 2 days of being sick and home a day early. Now I know what it feels like to be a cat that sleeps 18 hours a day.
By Sunday, I was sooo bored I started watching the America’s Next Top Model marathon on VH1.
Something weird DID happen though. In between sleeping, I was reading a book from one of my favorite authors, Armistead Maupin (Tales of the City) called The Night Listener. When I finished, I googled the book, hoping to find a discussion group or something and learned that they made a movie from the book staring Robin Williams. So I thought I might rent it next weekend, but while scrolling through the channel guide, I discovered it was ON AT THAT VERY MOMENT! So I guess that was cool.
I’m glad to be back.
