May 6, 2008: First it's the guy who invented acid
|
...now the creator of Sherman and Peabody goes to a place more colorful than we can imagine. So that leaves me to ponder, who's next?
Rest in peace Ted Key, who among other accomplishments, created the animated Sherman and Mr. Peabody, a time-traveling dog/scientist, and his boy Sherman. (Key passed away over the weekend at the age of 95). Featured on the Rocky and Bullwinkle show, they got to zip through history and meet some famous folks, like Paul Revere, General Custer, and others with the aid of the technologically advanced WABAC machine, pronounced "way-back."
Since Albert Hoffman, inventor of acid, died last week at the age of 102, it begs the question..since these things always come in threes, who's next?
Let's see if you can follow my logic: #1: Acid leads to #2, cartoons, which of course leads to #3, MUNCHIES.
Mr. Frito Lay--you've been warned.
