Bio: Performing with up-tempo back-beat, a funk-influenced bassist breaking into occasional solos, and cool, whispered lyrics, "as proclaimed by the Badger Herald" the Sharp & Harkins Band are spreading their unique Indie vibes and raising the brows of all the right people. Drawing from the slide guitar riffs of Ben Harper and John Butler, these guys have a unique sound. Within the span of a year, this group recorded their debut studio album, Alive Again, won two 2007 Madison Area Music Awards, enjoyed radio airplay, and played numerous premier venues around the Midwest.
Whether rocking the Southern Comfort Music Experience at the Alliant Energy Center for a crowd of thousands, the Metro in Chicago for hundreds, or small clubs with merely a few dozen patrons, the Sharp & Harkins Band perform their music with energy and vision.
